The Parallel Collection of artisanal pendant lights from Hennepin Made is hands-down a compelling choice for overhead lighting in any part of a home. The curved shapes transition from a metal top to a hand-blown glass bottom, striking a midcentury-modern tone that feels adaptable to a variety of styles.
Parallel comes in eight different shapes ranging from Teardrop to Canister—the nomenclature isn’t ambiguous here—as well as six muted but elegant colors including blush pink, olive, clear, and smoky gray. The metal aluminum tops come in either a dark bronze or a lighter, brushed-steel look called Champagne. At 2700k, the color temperature is on the softer and warmer side and the collection is also dimmer-compatible.
For those considerate of sourcing and sustainability, these pendant lights are crafted through a vertically integrated process by the craftspeople at Hennepin Made. The pelletized glass—which only needs to be melted once and is thus arguably more energy- and resource-efficient—is sourced from Sweden.
These pendant lights have a 5-in. mounting base and an 8-ft. cord (with custom cord lengths available). Pricing for the Parallel Collection starts at $430 for Carina and Vela models and goes up from there.
