Stop the Slam
Hinge restrictor clips prevent cabinet doors from opening past 90°, keeping them from marking up nearby walls.
Many cabinet builders and installers know about this tip, but not everybody does. When the doors on cabinets installed adjacent to walls or pantries swing open, they can slam into and damage nearby surfaces.
In these cases, I install restrictor clips into the hinges that prevent the doors from swinging open a full 90°. Most major manufacturers of European-style (cup) hinges make these hinge restrictor clips, and you can get a couple dozen for five bucks. The key is to make sure you have them on hand when you install the cabinets.

Can these be retrofitted on existing European style hinges? No clue what brand mine are. Less than 10 years old though
