After earning a degree in history from Gordon College, Aaron pursued his passion for the trades by joining the boutique building scene on the North Shore of Boston. In 2003 he began working for Covenant LLC, a custom home construction and renovation firm. For 13 years he honed his craft under owners who encouraged learning and practice and fostered a culture of striving for excellence. Aaron has worked as a carpentry program instructor at North Bennet Street School. He is now a lead carpenter working for Carpenter & MacNeille Architects and Builders in Essex, Mass. When not on a job site, Aaron spreads his passion for craftsmanship through private workshops and by teaching and doing demonstrations on his Instagram account.
Like Fine Homebuilding, Aaron’s passion and mission is to train and educate the next generation in the craft of high-end residential construction and remodeling. Together, we are determined to #KeepCraftAlive.
